Why choose Verm-X for Horses?
The development of Verm-X was started by contacting the Association of Medicinal Herbalists and requesting the name of the person who was the best in this field - this led to our association with the then President of the Association Trudy Norris. Trudy ia a world renowned and highly respected herbal practitioner and we asked her to create the formulation for Verm-X based on her expert understanding of herbs. Trudy, along with many herbalists, has been using herbs for a long time for repelling parasites in humans, it was therefore a natural progression for her to develop a safe and effective blend for animals.
The herbs included in Verm-X have been carefully blended together to work synergistically with each other. Independent trials have proven that the herbal blend works (i.e. repels parasites). There have also been several reports from horse owners that their horses looked ‘extremely well’ following feeding on Verm-X. Jenny Franklin from Chapel en le Frith in Derbyshire wrote in to say: “What an amazing difference in Sam (her horse), his coat became so silky, very large dapples have appeared on his rump, and his belly has become a nice barrel shape”.
Philip Ghazala of Verm-X acknowledges that there is a place for Verm-X in today’s equine healthcare management. “We have found that Verm-X has been adopted by horse owners for many different reasons. Some people for example David Morley, Chairman of Pony Welfare at Hurlingham Polo Association, uses the gentle action of Verm-X for peak competition season; other people have bought Verm-X because they keep their horses on organic farms where they are simply not allowed to use chemicals. Another group of people are fans of Verm-X because they refuse to use chemicals. It is not unusual for us to receive calls from horse owners who haven’t put chemicals into their horses, for 3, 4 or 5 years and are delighted that an effective herbal alternative has been made available.”
Another key reason for horse owners to consider Verm-X is because it has a gentler action and doesn’t disrupt the existing essential flora in your horse’s gut.
Herbs have a very important place in the market for all species. They have earned that place by being used by many civilisations effectively over the centuries. It is therefore right that the consumer should have a natural alternative in today’s man-made world if they so wish.
