The design of the stable round arch (= star) and the associated massiveness and product strength also served as a template for the two stainless steel stars in the Pony StarBridle. The Pony StarBridle was therefore not simply scaled down but carefully elaborated and recalculated. because the centre point - marked by the two letters SB - centres and absorbs the pressure forces transmitted to the surroundings. They give strength and stability to the overall construction. n contrast to the original Starbridle, the Pony StarBridle has only been equipped with a perforation on the 360 degree rotating cylinder rein guide and has thus also been adapted to the head format of the animals.
The Pony StarBridle ensures gentle guidance, pleasant light pressure on the bridge of the pony's nose and can be buckled into all snaffles. There is a special reason why we have provided our PonyBridle with suits (360 degree rotating cylinder rein guide with a hole). Our late driving instructor Günther Ehbauer was convinced that bitless riding is not only possible with single bridles but also with double and multiple bridles. So Günther Ehbauer developed rotatable suits for our big StarBridle - and why rotatable? Because the inner lines are led to the opposite driving horse, there is a lateral pull on the mouth and the mouth angle is pinched. By turning the inner suit, the lateral pull on the mouth and the jamming of the mouth angle is prevented and thus it adapts ideally to the line guidance! This means that pony riding enthusiasts also have the option of riding their ponies bitless with the Pony StarBridle.
Our test with Chiara has shown that the reins are guided much more finely via the bridle and that not only the nose but also the neck is addressed. Of course, the pony rider has the option of not attaching the reins to the suits. The reins are buckled into the holes underneath the leather chinstrap. Here the pony only receives a slight pressure on the nose. You should simply try both possibilities. Every pony reacts differently. We wish you a lot of fun with our pony StarBridle.
