Manako BIO evening primrose oil (organic) 250ml
Manako BIO Evening Primrose Oil
Perhaps you have heard of the yellow Rapunzel? Or of the ham herb? Well certainly but then from the cough flower! The vernacular has given this child many more names over time. Most likely because of its versatility! But all these names always point to one and the same impressive and versatile plant: Evening Primrose (Oenothera biennis).
Evening primrose is a wild plant and was originally native to North America. The tribal physicians of the North American Indians were already aware of the plant's many uses: among other things, they used it to treat skin diseases and painful respiratory problems. Today it is widespread across the continent and arrived in Europe in the 17th century. First introduced as an ornamental plant, it quickly poached out and spread rapidly.
Currently, especially the oil of the seeds is valued for its content of polyunsaturated fatty acids - especially gamma - linolenic acid.
You can either take evening primrose oil or apply it to the skin. It is also well suited for massage oils. In addition, it is also well suited for mixing with other oils, such as black cumin oil.
