The net is a rectangular box with a net bottom at the bottom and open at the top. Measuring 1.8 metres high and 1.6 metres wide and deep, you can put the net over a complete bale, throw it over and tie it on the other side (ribbon is supplied). It is best to tension the net from above with a pulley so that you can re-tension it if the bale collapses.

Safety advice:
Any shoeing harms the horse. That is why the hay nets have been developed and tested for barefoot horses only. We advise against the use of the nets by unnaturally kept, i.e. shod horses. Also for horses whose hooves are smaller in diameter than the net meshes.
