Sugar cane molasses is an important ingredient for the propagation of EM-1® to active EMa. Together with a suitable fermenter, water and the sugar cane molasses, EMa (EM active) can be produced. The high sugar content and the proportion of valuable minerals make sugar cane molasses an ideal feed for the microorganisms.
Depending on the delivery and batch, molasses can have a different density. Thus, a litre of ZR molasses can vary in weight by up to 500 grams. You can see this from the sometimes different filling heights in the containers.
To ensure that you always achieve a good result in EMa production, we have changed the unit of measurement. Sugar cane molasses is now no longer calculated in litres, but in kilograms.
