The chinstrap for the Barefoot® Bitless Bit or other hackamores is thoroughly elastic and pliable because an elastic band has been inserted in the middle and laid twice. In this way, aids are applied precisely, but are softened by the elastic piece if they are applied too roughly. For the horse, this chinstrap is much more comfortable than standard straps or even chin chains. It does not chafe the sensitive chin area.
