The Contour headpiece is curved forwards and thus leaves the sensitive area of the nerve cord at the occiput free from pressure. The headpiece is softly padded in the area of the horse's ears and curved - the ears have room and the headpiece nestles softly.
The headpiece and noseband are softly padded. The noseband has two additional rings which can be used to buckle reins for bitless riding.
The bit can easily be buckled in or out at three different heights on the extra rings by means of the snap hooks on the bit straps. The complete throat lash can also be unbuckled - so the headstall can also be used as a halter.
Our recommendation: The headstall should be buckled loosely and the noseband should have plenty of slack so that the horse's breathing is not impeded.
